Trellis Climate

Trellis is a pioneering program dedicated to fast-tracking innovative climate infrastructure solutions to reach commercial viability quickly. Its primary goal is to speed up the implementation of first-of-a-kind (FOAK) climate projects, focusing on those with substantial climate impact potential, a clear scalability path, and a critical need for catalytic capital. Trellis Climate tackles both financial and systemic challenges by providing risk-tolerant investment capital and nonprofit programming aimed at transforming the sector. By utilizing philanthropy to attract maximum commercial investment, Trellis Climate strives to accelerate the growth of climate technologies to meet net-zero targets by 2050.

About the Organization

Trellis Climate is a program by the Prime Coalition. Prime is dedicated to fostering a global movement focused on collective, long-term thinking by supporting individuals, programs, and innovations that can ignite, enhance, or speed up the development of emerging climate solutions with the potential to transform our world in the coming decades. Embracing the principle of additionality, they aim to address gaps or facilitate outcomes that would be unlikely without our catalytic assistance.

The Prime family, which includes Prime Coalition and its associated organizations, gathers and directs catalytic capital towards impactful climate ventures and projects. They believe these initiatives have the capacity to create significant, enduring change and might face difficulties in securing sufficient support without our help, particularly when the timeframe to mitigate technology risk is too lengthy for conventional investors.

About the Design

The design for Trellis Climate is minimal and modern. The mark is a combination of the modern infrastructure and the environment. A reflection of the necessary relation we, as people, need to have with the planet. The colors are softer with tones that remind us of nature: Green for plants. Blue for water. Oranges and Yellows for sun and energy.
