Minnesota Historical Society
We had the opportunity to work with the Minnesota Historical Society on their new initiative Black History | Black Voices which seeks to deepen understanding of Black history and the contributions Black Americans have made to Minnesota. This initiative centers Black narratives, history, and issues through ongoing programs, content, and resources created by members of Minnesota’s Black community.
We created the look and feel of the initiative with the typographic mark using the font Bayard, created by Tré Seals, founder of Vocal Type Co. We created a full range of illustrated Black icons to use throughout the initiative along with a style guide to help with brand consistency.
