About the Project
The Black Church Food Security Network co-creates with Black churches and Black Farmers for food sovereignty and security all across the United States. We were thrilled to have a partner with such an expansive reach and impact through their various programs and partnerships. We designed their primary identity mark to reflect stained glass found in Black churches. The Black fist in the center of the mark symbolizes Black pride, solidarity, and resistance against oppression. This concept aligns with Black Church Food Security Network’s mission to co-create Black food ecosystems anchored by Black churches working in partnership with Black farmers and other organizations.
