About the Project
These illustrations were created for the Birth Justice Collaborative to share the importance of the culturally home visits they provide.
Our Process
We created a series of illustrations that depict American Indian and African American families getting support from home visitors as they embark on their parenting journey with newborns. In our illustrations, we included scenes where family members are interacting with each other through shared activities, icons conveying the types of educational support they receive from the home visitors, and cultural specific elements.
