About the Project
Our team has wanted to work with Voices for Racial Justice for a while, so we were stoked when they decided it was time for a brand refresh. The identity mark was designed as a depiction of the Big Dipper constellation and North Star, which were used for navigation, storytelling, and as a symbol of freedom for enslaved Black people. As a guiding light to advancing restorative racial justice, this concept aligns with VRJ’s mission to build power in BIPOC communities through cultural healing, leadership development, organizing, and policy work.
