About the Project
This exhibition, curated by Terresa Hardaway and Jessica Garcia Fritz, explores historical and contemporary impacts of built and visual environments on movements for Indigenous sovereignty and Black liberation.
The collection represents interconnected themes across these movements and is organized according to the artists’ visual references to various eras, from the 1700s to imagined futures. Blackbird Revolt was thrilled to design the brand, digital & print collateral, as well as assist with implementing the brand in the physical space through collaborating with Sharp Signs.
